Caesars

The group Caesars Entertainment just announced that they will spend 233 million dollars to transform the Quad Resort & Casino at the Strip in Las Vegas into a new establishment with the name Linq Hôtel & Casino.
The name change will officially take place on the 30th of October 2014 when major renovations are being completed.

The short life of Quad Resort & Casino

In September 2012, the Imperial Palace Las Vegas has become the Quad Resort & Casino. Since then the building has undergone refurbishment extensive works. In fact, its 2,256 rooms and suites have been gradually renovated.
Nevertheless, the hotel remains the one who offers the lowest number of rooms on the famous Strip. Because of this reason Caesars Entertainment has decided to overhaul the Quad Resort & Casino and turn it into Linq Hotel & Casino.

The future establishment will open on October 30, offering 204 additional rooms, but also 29 new suites with a private patio, easy access to the pool, terrace access, and a view of the largest observation wheel in the world carrying the name High Roller.
Designed by architects Elkus Manfredi and Berman, Wall & Associates, the new complex will also offer many amenities such as a spa, and a special promenade with 14 shops, 12 restaurants, 8 bars and 2 concert halls.

A connected establishment

Technology is at the heart of the efforts of Linq Hotel & Casino to target high tech travellers and to meet the expectations of connected clients.
Automatic check-ins, touch screen capabilities in the VIP lounge, and a concierge desk for reservations will be offered to the guests.
High-speed WIFI will be available to all customers in all areas of the hotel as well.
Tariq Shaukat, Executive CP & CMO at Caesars Entertainment, said: “The resort will provide guests with a highly social and connected environment, with all the great restaurants, shops and experiences available at the Linq promenade right at their fingertips,”.
Bob Morse, president of hospitality for Caesars Entertainment added: “The LINQ Hotel & Casino will immerse guests into social lifestyle experiences through provocative yet approachable modern offerings. This new hotel-casino in Las Vegas is bold, graphic, social and digital with dynamic community spaces designed for the socially engaged traveller.”
