Italy to grant online gaming licenses from July

The Italian regulation authority for gambling – Amministrazione Autonoma dei Monopoli di Stato (AAMS) – has recently announced that it will start issueing the first licenses for online poker and casino operators from July 18.
However, not all gaming operators will manage to obtain a license on that date.
In fact, only those that comply with all technical and legal requirements will be able to obtain a license.
The other operators will have to wait for the first and third Mondays of every month when new licenses will be issued.
