The revenues of the large casinos in the state of Nevada have recorded a decrease of 743.7 million dollars over the course of the year 2014.
However, this decline is less than half of the decline from the previous year.
As a consequence, the State Gaming Control Board just released encouraging figures in their Nevada Gaming Abstract for 2014.

The smallest loss since 2009

Around 270 gaming establishments in the state of Nevada were considered large casinos in the year 2014.
The combined net loss of these establishments amounted to 743.7 million dollars.
This figure is still better than that of the previous year, during which losses amounted to 1.3 billion dollars.
It is the sixth consecutive year during which the land-based casinos in Nevada recorded a decrease of income.
However it is the smallest figure since the year 2009, when the effects of the economic crisis started to be fully noticeable.
The anti-corruption campaign in China is currently making an impact on the income of the establishments in Macau, which is something that can also be felt in Nevada, since it also recorded a decline in revenues that are made at the baccarat tables in Las Vegas.
